Jon Rubin, ‘(your name here) One Float Parade’, 2003

"In collaboration with students from the California College of the Arts we created a parade-style float that drove around the city picking up strangers who then became the subject of the float. Each randomly selected stranger would sit on the float, have their name spelled out on the big sign-board, and have 12 cheerleaders perform a set of cheers specifically designed for that individual. The float performed for unsolicited audiences of four to forty people."
